It’s tempting to file every sword-bearing Mickey under “launch weekend” and call it provenance. Resist that urge. The sword is shared. The Jochem Van Gool art is shared. The Steel ink, the 6-cost Bodyguard bumper, the 7 willpower that exists scientifically to get in the way, and the ALL FOR ONE clause that hands other Musketeers a quiet +1 Strength — all shared. What is not shared is the rarity slot.

This case file is for The First Chapter retail printing: Rare collector number 186/204. Pack product. The musketeer who shows up in sealed product the way Rares do — repeatedly, imperfectly centered sometimes, occasionally cold-foiled, and never wearing a Gen Con logo where the rarity symbol belongs.

Not the Gen Con 2023 promo (11/P1, Gen Con logo in the rarity position). Not a launch-weekend attestation card. Same character version. Different museum tag.

If Gen Con Mickey is ignition with a date stamped on the face, 186/204 is what the fire looks like after it becomes a set list.

Gameplay face matches the Gen Con promo. Same art. Same keywords. Same 7-willpower bumper whose scientific purpose is, frankly, to get in the way while the rest of the Musketeers enjoy a quiet +1.
